1. Service overview
Sériphe is a web-based writing application for authors, available at seriphe.com. It provides modules for writing, characters, locations, lore documents, timelines and mind maps.
The application is currently published and operated personally. For any question, contact contact@seriphe.com.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Accessing and using Sériphe implies full acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, you must not use the service.
We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when published on the website. Continued use of Sériphe after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms.
3. Access conditions and age restriction
Sériphe is reserved for users aged 18 or older. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
4. Account registration
Access to Sériphe requires an account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your session and for all actions performed from your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of unauthorized account use at contact@seriphe.com.
5. Offers and premium access
5.1 Free plan
A free version of Sériphe is available with limited features, with no commitment and no fixed duration.
5.2 Premium lifetime access
A premium offer is available through a one-time payment. This payment grants perpetual access to the application features included in the offer, with no recurring fees or subscription.
Premium access is personal, non-transferable and attached to the account that made the purchase.
5.3 Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. By completing a payment, you also accept Stripe's applicable terms. The price is shown in euros including applicable taxes at the time of purchase.
5.4 Withdrawal and refund
In accordance with French consumer law, you may have a 14-day withdrawal period from the date of purchase. To exercise it, contact contact@seriphe.com.
If you start using premium features and expressly waive your withdrawal right when activating premium access, this right can no longer be exercised.
5.5 Continuity of access
Sériphe undertakes to maintain premium feature access as long as the service remains online. If the service closes permanently, premium users will be notified by email at least 90 days in advance.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Your content
You keep all intellectual property rights over the content you create and store in Sériphe, including texts, characters, worlds and notes.
You grant us only a limited, non-exclusive and revocable license strictly necessary to host and display your content as part of the service.
6.2 Our content
The Sériphe application, interface, code, visuals and brand are protected by intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction or use is prohibited.
7. Acceptable use
When using Sériphe, you agree not to:
- Publish or store illegal, defamatory, hateful or third-party-infringing content
- Attempt to hack, disrupt or damage the application or its servers
- Use the application for commercial purposes without prior authorization
- Share your login credentials with third parties
- Use scripts or bots to access the service automatically
Violation of these rules may lead to immediate account suspension, without refund of premium access where applicable.
8. Service availability and liability
Sériphe aims to provide continuous access, but interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or technical incidents.
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, user-created content or data loss caused by unforeseen technical incidents. You are responsible for keeping backups of important content.
9. Account deletion
You may request account deletion at any time by contacting contact@seriphe.com. Personal data and content will be deleted within 30 days, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those determined under applicable law.
